Brilliant- would recommend 💯 ☺ I had an accident in the room causing damage to the hotel property. Werner dealt with it in a friendly professional manner in which I was able to pay for the damage caused. Again very sorry. Also the welcoming and friendliness of Werner’s wife far exceeded my expectations. The new location was a great improvement to my previous stay at Roos guesthouse with the updated rooms and improvement in facilities. Breakfast was also 10/10 and the cleaning/ night security guy extremely friendly. ☹ The road you had to go down to get to the hotel- muddy and uneven

Great accommodation ☺ Rooms were small but spotlessly clean and fully functional. Breakfast was great with plenty of choice. Owners Werner and Hannah couldn't do enough for you. I would absolutely recommend Roos Guest house if you are in the are. ☹ Maybe just needed a small shelf in bathroom for toiletries, that said it was a nice bathroom.

The best value in moalboal We came here in part of a long trip for three nights First of all the staff here was amazing from the workers to to owner that in the second he was in the guesthouse he come over to welcome us The location was perfect in center of the main street and Close by to everythingThe room was cleen and with a toom service Very good wife all the time and warm water with a high level shower Very good value for money 10/10Thank you very much!!

Werner en Hanna dank je wel! In maart 2020 mochten we vanwege de Corona lockdown ruim twee weken genieten van de gastvrijheid van uitbater Werner en zijn lieve vriendin Hanna. Ze deden er alles aan het al hun gasten naar de zin te maken in hun prachtige guesthouse. Beiden zijn zeer goed op de hoogte van alle ontwikkelingen en mogelijkheden die het eiland Cebu en Moalboal biedt en delen dat graag met hun gasten. We hebben ons elke dag thuis en welkom gevoeld. De kamers en het sanitair zijn kraakhelder en de service subliem. Het guesthouse zal binnenkort uitbreiding krijgen, op een steenworp afstand van de huidige locatie en we hebben er al iets van gezien: het wordt prachtig... Werner, zelf backpacker geweest, weet precies wat zijn gasten wensen. We kwamen niets tekort. Dank je wel Werner en Hanna, tot gauw, want wee komen zeker weer terug!Groetjes van Marga en Maarten

Liefste mensen en fantastische plek Na ruim drie maanden reizen was dit veruit ons beste verblijf wat betreft gastvrijheid. Het personeel is super lief en vriendelijk. Hanna en Werner doen er alles aan om het je naar je zin te maken en komen met goede tips. Ook Canyoneering geboekt en dit was geweldig. Echt een must do! Het hostel heeft een super gezellig zitje met zwembadje. Het ontbijt is heerlijk! Je kan je water bijvullen, allemaal extra services die het verblijf top maken.De kamer is praktisch ingericht, maar dit weet je vooraf dus helemaal prima!Dank Werner en Hanna voor een top ervaring hier!!

Excelente! Pousada bem simples mas muito boa. Localização perfeita, 5 minutos da praia e bem no centrinho de moalbal. Varias opções de restaurantes e mercados ao redor. A equipe é bem prestativa e nos ajudou em tudo, inclusive com o transfer de cebu-moalbal e moalbal- cebu. É um lugar bem simples mas recomendo muito.

Pleasant stay in an excellent location We enjoyed our stay at Roo’s guesthouse and would recommend it to others staying in MoalboalPros:-The guesthouse is excellently located - a short walk from Panagsama beach and a lot of restaurants-Drinking water available-Varied breakfast selection included-Good WIFI and AC-Outside areas to chill in-Twin room was clean and fairly comfortable (though note that it was a bunk bed), towels providedWhat could have been better:-The bathroom is very small, the shower gets everything wet - though the water pressure is great and the water is warm-Often there was loud music from neighbouring places late at night or early in the morning-Pancake breakfast isn’t good, get another option :)

Good location and great owner We didn’t stay here but used them for trips. The owner is always on site and very very helpful and will respond to emails promptly. Place looked very in order and is a great location to stay for western guests. We met people staying here who said it was good and reasonably priced. Really nice place, good value and we wish we had stayed here. The kittens were lovely to!

Disappointing I booked a stay at Roos and was very disappointed, room was really small and very very hot, opening the window meant you could hear all the noise from reception and the really loud building work from Chinese restaurant across the road.Booked three nights stay but left the next morning because off noise.Hand on heart one off the most disappointing places I've stayed in for the price I paid in twenty years off travelling.Plus my booking got deleted from booking.com as soon as I left making it impossible to write any sort off reviewStay somewhere else there's loads off better quieter places to stay in moalboal.

The place to be in Moalboal! Wat een geweldig guesthouse! Het lieve personeel helpt je met alles, zoals tours organiseren en geeft de beste inside tips over het eiland. Ze hebben een heerlijke chill plek met zwembad, wat perfect is na een dagje het eiland ontdekken. De locatie kan niet beter en de katjes wil je zeker weten mee naar huis nemen! Ik raad iedereen aan om minimaal een nachtje hier te verblijven, want daarna wil je niet gauw meer weg!

We had an amazing stay at Roo's. Their staff are warm & welcoming. They shared tips on what activities to do, where best to eat, and are very neat/quick in maintaining the cleanliness of the areas. Their free breakfast is always served fresh. The water pressure is excellent & hot water is always available. They keep the rooms clean so you always come back to a tidy space. The rooms have some space out front where you can hang-out/hang wet clothes. Their common area for serving food is great, you can just chill and admire their manicured patio & relax. We stayed at their common area for a while because we arrived earlier than the check-in time, and they were nice to offer us some drinks. They were able to prep the room really quickly and so we were able to check-in early still. They have faucets outside where you can wash your feet, a comfort room to change clothes in, and a sink where you can wash your hands - this was a BIG plus for me. Would definitely recommend Roo's!
